Bitter battlefield Alabama

My take on what happened in Alabama.

Trump endorsed and campaigned for Luther Strange during the Alabama Senate primary. This should be remembered. Trump tried to stay out from the GOP civil war in order to preserve his ties with Congressional Republicans, whose support is essential to advance his legislative agenda.

Moore was pure Bannon. A test case for Bannon’s insurgency against GOP establishment. Alabama Senate race was almost more Bannon v. GOP, than Republican Party v. Dem Party.  

GOP establishment supported Moore just like supported candidate Trump in 2016: insincerely, running away during the storm. And there was a lot of storm. And a lot of dirt.

This is a massive failure that will lead to an even uglier civil war inside GOP.

ADDENDUM: The hunt to male politicians is open  until the 2018 elections at the minimum. As ammunition, any kind of allegation of sexual harassment and/or misconduct is admitted, no matter if referred to facts allegedly happened decades ago, no matter if without any judicial verification.
